Dendreon is looking for a Financial Analyst with 3+ years working experience in a related position or field, and at least a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; CPA, CMA. This person will work closely with the Finance team to support an ERP system implementation project which is already underway. The Financial Analyst will assist with documenting business processes, analyzing and reconciling financial data, building financial reports, testing, and training. This job is performed in a lab, office, or utility (noisy) environment.


This position will require some schedule flexibility and occasional travel to our other locations (Seattle, WA and/or Union City, GA).


  • Creates clear written documentation of finance business processes.
  • Analyzes financial information and reconciles data from multiple systems to ensure consistency.
  • Generates financial statements using a new reporting tool (training will be provided).
  • Develops ad hoc queries to analyze financial data. Summarizes and communicates findings.
  • Works closely with a third party ERP implementation partners to support the system implementation project. 
  • Participates in all stages of the ERP system implementation. Participates in requirements definition, design, testing, and training.
  • Act as Financial Business Partner to key operating functions within Dendreon.


  • 3+ years working experience in a related position or field. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.
  • Demonstrates analytical proficiency; Posses the ability to understand and correlate complex business issues into simple cause and effect explanations; Excellent formal and informal written and oral communication skills; Willingness to be held accountable for producing accurate information and to perform tasks by the highest ethical standards. 
  • Prior experience with ERPLx, PeopleSoft or BPCS systems a plus.
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
  • Intermittent walking to gain access to work areas.
  • Finger dexterity sufficient to use a computer and to complete paperwork activities.
  • Vision sufficient to use a computer, to read written materials and to complete paperwork activities.
  • Hearing sufficient to communicate with individuals by telephone and in person.
  • Ability/willingness to travel to Seattle, WA and/or Union City, GA.
  • Some schedule flexibility.
