Overview

This position is responsible for vendor account management for Dendreon’s Commercial and Clinical Apheresis Network for the West Region. This position will drive the day-to-day business results to include: management of a regional financial plan; maintain a high level of communications with all levels in the organization; analysis of data to develop and implement regional strategies; account business plans; respond to market changes, and establish goals and tactics. Maintain an in- depth knowledge of customer and competition. Work cross functionally as needed to support Dendreon products.

 

Ideal candidate will be based mid Texas and West.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction to a team of Corporate Account Managers in the West Region.
  • Develop and implement a regional business plan to maximize business opportunities and achieve/exceed corporate account and market access/reimbursement goals.
  • Set and communicate performance expectations and goals and how these contribute to the overall strategy.
  • Promote a customer-centered culture that strives to exceed customer needs, requirements, and expectations by educating and developing rapport with external customers.
  • Elicit feedback and respond to customer requests while ensuring that the company and customer goals are aligned.
  • Recruitment and development of the Corporate Account Managers.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring that includes development plans, training, resources, and opportunities for the team.
  • Ensure full implementation of all promotional programs to maximize access.
  • Lead and implement a prioritized strategic plan to build business.
  • Identify trade and customer opportunities and insights by pulling reports and analyzing data.
  • Uses professional concepts to contribute to development of company’s concepts and principles and to achieve objectives in creative and effective ways.
  • Exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Acts independently to determine methods and procedures on new assignments and to provide guidance and oversee the activities of other lower-level personnel.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS required, preferably in business or science.
  • 10 years of Pharma/Biotech experience required. 3-5 years of Corporate Account, Reimbursement, Market Access, and or Sales leadership experience required.
  • Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions from Sr. Management, customers, and sales representatives.
  • Clear track record of building and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication skills
