Dendreon Technical Operations manages the creation of the production plan and execution of arm-to-arm activities supporting Provenge treatments, including but not limited to production and demand planning, logistics analysis, scheduling, and real-time product monitoring. We are looking for an individual who will work cross functionally in support of the overall initiatives for Technical Operations to drive strategy, and ensure execution and achievement of program goals.


  • Provide program leadership to cross-operational projects, including tracking progress and providing oversight across all projects and tasks relevant to Technical Operations
  • Manage the collaboration of cross-functional supply chain teams on topics such as forecasting, system integration and strategic planning
  • Lead Dendreon’s order management process and ensure alignment between procedures and IT systems
  • Identify operational gaps and develop strategic improvements to promote efficiencies
  • Manage assigned department projects within given timelines
  • Organize the Technical Operations departmental meetings, actions, presentations and project plans 
  • Maintain and revise department SOPs in alignment with corporate and compliance initiatives
  • Develop and manage Technical Operations training materials/plans and facilitate training as requested
  • Assist in the internal and external audit process, as well as inspection management process including FDA 
  • Assist with departmental culture building and internal communications
  • Perform other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills are essential in this collaborative work environment
  • Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously and demonstrate organizational, prioritization, and time management proficiencies
  • 3+ years leadership / people management experience, whether on a team or working on projects
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction and able to adjust workload based upon changing priorities
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and willing to accept temporary responsibilities outside of initial job description
  • Ability to collect, digest and communicate information through relevant business analyses to influence decision-making
  • Ability to communicate vertically and horizontally through multiple channels, leverage contact network to motivate diverse teams, and enable cross-functional collaboration
  • Management skills, including the ability to identify and execute strategic initiatives, manage multiple projects, prioritize project resources, and assess project effectiveness and efficiency
  • Proven functional or team leadership skills and proven management by influence
  • Proven expertise using Excel, PowerPoint and project management tools; CRM (Salesforce) and ERP (ERPLx) experience a plus
  • Excellent presentation skills to different audiences, including to senior management
  • Some travel may be required
