Dendreon Technical Operations manages the creation of the production plan and execution of arm-to-arm activities supporting Provenge treatments, including but not limited to production and demand planning, logistics analysis, scheduling, and real-time product monitoring.


This position will develop analysis and reporting capabilities for Operations. Data Analyst will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.


  • Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
  • Develop and implement databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
  • Acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
  • Filter and “clean” data by reviewing reports, and performance indicators to locate and correct code problems
  • Work with department management to prioritize business and information needs
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
  • Use statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business reports
  • Work with departmental managers to outline the specific data needs for each business method analysis project
  • Work with management to create reporting tools, review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results
  • Interface with all levels of organization, including senior management
  • Deliver presentations and make recommendations to leadership


  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
  • 2+ years data mining experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to collaborate effectively and work as part of a team
  • Ability to collect, digest and communicate information through relevant business analyses to influence decision-making
  • Ability to create reports and data visualization according to user requirements
  • Proficiency in using BI tools to design, develop, and implement reports and dashboards
  • Excellent presentation skills to different audiences, including to senior management
  • Innovative and resourceful in applying ideas to meet challenges and solve problems 
  • Works independently and performs tasks with a high degree of accuracy
  • Communicates effectively across all levels of the company
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Outlook, MS Office applications and exposure reporting applications - Qlik Sense preferred
