  • Overview

    The sales operations and analytics function resides within the Commercial Organization and supports both sales and marketing initiatives through the development of: sales strategies, design & optimization, along with sales compensation, analytics, and administrative support. Key responsibilities are to ensure sales strategy and teams are geographically aligned to grow market penetration and develop the right metrics to measure the business, while providing sales support to both internal and external customers. This position requires a strong customer support background, an understanding of Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO’s) and distributors, along with knowledge of sales and sales process of bringing new customers onboard. Additionally, this position will require an ability to effectively support and communicate to internal and external customers across the enterprise, ensuring proper on-boarding of new and/or existing customers in the right way for patients to receive successful treatments.



    • Supports the sales operations inbox and troubleshoots issues as they arise
    • Ensures the Dendreon Systems Ready (DSR) process is followed by on/off-boarding customers
    • Point of contact for GPO and/or distributors. Responsible for updating and overseeing information within salesforce.com (SFDC)
    • Maintains data integrity within SFDC for both internal and external customers
    • Completes ad-hoc reports per management requests
    • Maintains existing sales reports as needed
    • Supports the on-boarding, reporting and training of sales employees in SFDC and CRM systems
    • Provides credentialing information to sales employees upon completion of new hire training and assists with ad-hoc credentialing requirements
    • Maintains the Public Health Service (PHS) tracking process in SFDC to ensure customers receive correct pricing
    • Aids finance by reviewing sales employees travel and expenses for health care providers (HCP) compliance
    • Aids Finance on customer chargebacks, administrative fees, and rebates
    • Collaborates with Scheduling and Tech Ops to ensure updates to GPOs, Distributors, and/or addresses are communicated and managed


    Job Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, accounting, computer science or related field.
    • Five+ years’ pharmaceutical experience, preferably in field sales or operations.
    • 5+ years SFDC or CRM experience
    • Advance Excel skills using pivot tables and formulas such as using vlookup, trims, arrays, exact, projections, etc.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Cross-functional collaboration and relationship building
    • Process improvement mindset with demonstrated creative problem solving skills
    • Well-organized with time management skills, attention to detail, and accuracy
    • Ability to set and maintain multiple priorities in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment
    • Experience conducting basic and advanced statistical analyses
    • Sales experience to completely understand a day in the life of a sales rep is preferred
