    The Consultant, Regional Account Executive will lead in piloting new hybrid sales role calling on strategic hospital networks (and member hospitals) and large community based oncology networks to advance PROVENGE utilization in M+CRPC. Evaluation of the initiative will be based on benchmarking historical (if available) PROVENGE enrollments / infusions vs. said enrollments / infusions during the period. This position will report to the Executive Director of Marketing.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    • Explore developing and deepening existing relationships with identified hospitals, hospital networks and large community based oncology networks to increase PROVEGNE enrollments in targeted geographies.
    • Focus on key decisions makers to include, but not limited to C-suite officers, MD department head / chairs, procurement, pharmacy and treating urologists and medical oncologists.
    • Work with senior commercial leadership to finalize target accounts within the specific geography.
    • Collaborate with regional and local sales management to deepen geography awareness of payer policies, diagnosis / treatment trends and account structure / politics.

    Qualifications

    Job Requirements:

    • BA or BS degree required. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 7 years' experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech/life-sciences industry is required.
    • Experience working in the buy and bill area of reimbursement is required.
    • Minimum of 5 years' account management and/or demonstrated success in a sales management, training, or marketing role is preferred.
    • Experience in oncology/urology specialty or marketplace is preferred.
    • Experience working with separate class of trade contracts is preferred.
    • Understanding of third party payer, trade and other distribution models is preferred.
    • Experience working with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPO) is preferred.
    • Knowledge of FDA and PhRMA promotional guidelines.
    • May require up to 80% overnight travel.
    • Must reside within territory. This territory is the North Atlantic Geography, which is North of Washington DC to Canadian border and west of Pittsburgh to the Atlantic Ocean.
