  • Overview

    The Data Integration Developer will contribute to the overall engineering, design, build and support of all existing and new system integrations. This position will play a significant role in both operational support and engineering the next generation integration architecture. This position will be responsible for web services, ETLs, xslt, java and SQL queries.

    Responsibilities

    • Creates and maintains all data integrations between various systems.
    • Studies data sources by interviewing users; defining, analyzing, validating data objects, and identifying the relationship among data objects.
    • Validates data integration by developing and executing test plans and scenarios, including data design, tool design, data extract/transform, networks, and hardware.
    • Maintains data warehouse performance by identifying and resolving data conflicts; upgrading data definitions.
    • Improves data integration by designing and evaluating new data interchange formats, improving physical design, rewriting data policy, standards and procedures.
    • Assists in modeling and designing Data Warehouse objects.
    • Plans data integration process by developing common definitions of sourced data.
    • Monitor integrations, properly alert colleagues and customers when processes fail or are experiencing degraded performance, and build solutions that can recover gracefully from interruptions in connectivity.
    • Implement enterprise integrations that result in a scalable, flexible, and highly available solutions that perform well under high traffic.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent.
    • 5+ years professional experience in software development and using data/application integration platforms.
    • 5+ years professional experience implementing integrations and ETLs for ERP systems, SFDC and other enterprise applications.
    • Familiarity with reporting tools (Tableau, QlikSense).
    • Expertise in SOA/ESB (Oracle SOA, Mulesoft, Tibco, etc.).
    • Expertise in ETL tools (ODI, Talend, etc.).
    • Java EE 5, Java EE 6 , JAX-WS, XML, XSLT, JPA, JAXB, JUNIT, EJB, WSDL, DOM, SAX, JDOM, SoapUI, JDBC, SQL, JDOM.
    • Experience with Oracle Databases (10g, 11g, 12c).
    • Development experience with Oracle PL/SQL.
    • GMP experience a plus.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and assistance.
    • Strong problem solving, organization and project management skills, with a willingness and desire to take responsibility, accountability and ownership.
    • Proactive and self-motivated in approach to work tasks​.
