  • Overview

    Directs the operation of the facility regulatory asset management program (Blue Mountain): maintains the database, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all data; manages user account creation and status; audits the system; and manages system maintenance and upgrades.


    • Managers calibration and preventive maintenance activities; schedules activities, coordinates execution, and verifies work completion, documentation  completeness, review and approval.
    • Performs equipment and instrument calibrations, such as temperature, pressure, time interval/rotation, on incubators, refrigerators, freezers, centrifuges, room environments, balances, bio-safety cabinets and laboratory equipment
    • Oversees communication of system performance and maintenance to operating departments; writes exception reports for alarms, calibrations and other deviations from operation requirements
    • Verifies training qualifications and status of all personnel performing calibration, preventive maintenance or repairs 
    • Operates Building Management computer system (BMS); runs trend reports and complies monthly trending graphs for all cGMP equipment tracked by BMS; runs and reconciles daily alarm reports
    • Assists with developing and revising facility/engineering SOPs


    • Associates degree or equivalent  technical certification
    • Experience performing equipment and instrument calibration
    • Typically two years related experience
    • Proficient with Blue Mountain Regulatory Asset Manager program, Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Strong attention to detail with excellent written and oral communications skills
    • Self-motivated and able to function effectively with a team environment
