Your Work:   The position will play a strategic and cohesive role within the Commercial Marketing team and responsible for developing, managing and driving robust marketing content and campaigns to support Provenge that builds Dendreon’s brand equity. This role serves as champion of the Provenge brand and ensures it is consistently and meaningfully represented in all customer touch points. Based in Seal Beach, CA, the Product Manager will report to Sr. Director, Marketing.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

  • Ensure successful and timely execution of marketing activities and initiatives; implementing key promotional tactics to drive the brand strategy and support overall sales goals for Provenge
  • Support development of strategic messaging and tactical pull through omnichannel activities
  • Creating promotional materials such as brochures, presentations, and advertisements.
  • Plan and implement campaigns which integrate all appropriate marketing tactics through an omni channel presence, including digital, interactive and online media, mobile applications, and other new methods that augment traditional marketing tactics.
  • Identify strategic customer insights through collaboration with medical, market analytics, field force and prescribers and translate into actionable strategies.
  • Support and collaborate with key business functions across the business (e.g. advocacy, patient access programs, speaker’s bureau etc.).
  • Creates action plans for execution of promotional sales force aligned activities.
  • Support development of the brand’s digital strategy delivering channel insights and analytics to report ROI and guide changes.
  • Developing product strategies and roadmaps that align with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Lead execution of digital brand campaigns, tactics, and programs to drive operational effectiveness, business impact and meet KPIs.
  • Oversee and manage creative agencies. Manage and approve expenditures within budget guidelines.
  • Scope and incorporate appropriate voice of customer research and insights into campaign development and decision-making process.
  • Analyzing sales data and market trends to adjust marketing strategies as needed
  • Establish metrics and track campaign/ program effectiveness and ROI.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory guidelines and requirements
  • Staying up to date with industry trends and best practices to inform product strategy and innovation.

Qualifications

 

  • BA/BS required.
  • 3 years US HCP marketing experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 + years of pharmaceutical Sales, Sales Training and/or Marketing industry experience.
  • Digital content and media knowledge and omnichannel experience preferred
  • Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including regulatory requirements, market dynamics, and competitive landscape.
  • Oncology or Rare Disease experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organization, project management, and prioritization skills.
  • Proven team player with ability to navigate cross functionally/matrix.
  • Experience in managing external resources and partners, including advertising agencies
  • Must demonstrate ability to lead strategically, execute effectively on tactical marketing plans, build alignment, inform, negotiate, and collaborate.
  • Demonstrate initiative, creativity, strategic capabilities, and ability to work effectively in complex, rapidly changing environments.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.

 

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • This position is On-Site at our Seal Beach, CA location
  • This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
