Your Role:

The Sr Manager, Sales Operations function resides within the Finance/Analytics organization and supports Commercial Operations in both sales and marketing initiatives. Responsibilities include: Reporting and Metrics, Sales Force Incentive Compensation, Sales Force Optimization, Sales Force Productivity, Process Automation, CRM , Sales Analytics, and Budget Management.

Responsibilities

Your Work:

  • Act as a trusted advisor and partner to Department Leader and Commercial Sales Leadership
  • Provide the quantitative basis for organization development strategy (e.g., territory planning, sales forecasting, sales strategy planning)
  • Manage all operational reporting and sales metrics including key performance indicators
  • Design, develop and administer Incentive Compensation Plan in support of the company's compensation philosophy of Paying For Performance
  • Measure Sales Force Productivity and ensure effective implementation of established strategies and tactics
  • Administer all monthly and quarterly sales commissions, bonuses and SPIFFs
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Accounting and Marketing Teams on projects to improve business efficiencies and sales effectiveness
  • Work closely with all Sales Data Vendors to ensure Dendreon is maximizing their resources.
  • Ability to manage and develop members of team
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or related field

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Sales Operations leadership preferred
  • Detailed Understanding of Salesforce
  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving ability
  • Business acumen
  • Life Science Experience preferred
  • Efficient in Excel, Power Point, CRM, Territory Optimization Software, B.I. Tools

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time. 
  • Intermittent walking to gain access to work areas.
  • Finger dexterity sufficient to use a computer and to complete paperwork activities.
  • Vision sufficient to use a computer, to read written materials and to complete paperwork activities.
  • Hearing sufficient to communicate with individuals by telephone and in person.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds. Limited exposure to (2ºC - 8ºC); (-20ºC); (-75ºC); (-196ºC) areas.
  • Job performed in a lab, office, or utility (noisy) environment.
